How do I register?

Registration is online only. There will be no day-of or on-site registration.

How do we change riders?

As the rider on course approaches the “transition area” the other team member is already in place in the “transition area”. Once the current rider on course crosses the lap line the next team member can start their lap

Can a team member take more than one lap at a time?

Yes, however each team member must complete one lap or otherwise be disqualified.

How does my team win?

The team with the most laps completed at the end of the 3 hours, within their category, will win. Laps must be completed by the end of the race. If a rider is “in-flight” at the end of the time, the lap will not be counted.

Can we camp on-site?

No, camping is not available on-site, however there are several campsites close by. If yo want to camp, you will want sites in the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit. For reservations click here: https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/name/kmn/camping.html#mlcampground

Anything to eat on-site?

Yes! SoLu is a food and wine establishment. Light breakfast food, such as fruit / bagels will be available for purchase the morning of the race. Lunch is included with race registration for all racers. There is food available as a part of SoLu’s regular menu as well for purchase.

Is there a good internet signal on-site?

Cell coverage depends on your provider.  There is not site-wide wifi available.

Garbage? Bathrooms? Recycling? Showers?

Yes to all. We will have portable toilets in all camping areas and the transition area. Showers are limited, but available.

How many teams place and get awards?

The top three teams in each of the events will place.

Are the grounds dog friendly?

Absolutely! SoLu Estates is a canine friendly property and home to an amazing and friendly group of pups. A leash is required for any doggy visitors. The pups that live on the property are not leashed, as this is their home, and they may even visit you in the pavilion for a quick belly rub. Don’t worry though, all four legged residents of the estate will be secured during the race.

Will my socks get wet?

The answer is YES! There is a water crossing and after pre-ride you will probably want to put on a dry pair for the big race… and maybe a pair for after. 🙂
